With 16 years of experience and an equally eminent track record in business, Shaik is recognized as a Middle East Business Leaders in Marketing and Business Development.

Naturally curious, Shaik understands the intrinsic cultural and emotional values of the people in the UAE where he grew up, which has helped him to build relationships with government departments, local authorities and MNCs across the UAE.

He is a respected man, driven and ambitious, with gravitas and a desire to learn and be challenged.  So it won’t surprise you that he started his career in sales.  And it wasn’t long before he discovered superior negotiation skills that coupled with a desire to help clients find the right solutions made him very successful.

It was on this foundation that Shaik has built a reputation for excellence working at companies that include Ontrack Systems, Etisalat (Emirates Telecommunication Corporation) and Galaxy Infotech Corporation.  At Ontrack Systems his presence was immediately noticed as he demonstrated commerciality coupled with energetic and dynamic leadership, which helped him win major government projects.  Notable mentions in a long list include the Abu Dhabi Stock Exchange, Etihad Airways, Qatar Airport Expansion Project, TANMIA and the Abu Dhabi Emiratisation Council.

Shaik’s business acumen has been demonstrated in the effective creation and execution of his business plans.  His instinctive knowledge and ability to seek out business opportunities have led to the creation of winning sales strategies as well as the introduction of new products, which are market leaders in the UAE.  Examples of this can be seen in the launch of SMSXprez at Ontrack Systems and the successful set up of operations for Galaxy Infotech Corporations, where he handled more than 200 clients in a little over 2 years.

In his current role as Chief Executive Officer at Emirates Net Computer Systems, he leads the business with an eye on integrity, performance and innovation.  His leadership and impressive knowledge of upcoming technology are recognised across the industry and attract high profile clients such as Etihad Airways and Emirates Net Computer Systems.   He is also partner and director at Exclusively Yours International, the female chaperone service run for women by women, where he shares his business expertise.

Shaik is recognised for his combination of thought leadership in business planning as well as his commerciality and sales expertise.  This is also why he has been chosen to participate on important government projects Dubai Government (Tanmia), Sharjah Government (Sharjah Human Resources) and Abu Dhabi Government (Abu Dhabi Emiratisation Council).  Including the many projects with Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Leadership Program www.mbrpld.ae, www.tep.ae and www.dubaisportleaders.ae

Years of extensive travel and a willingness to accept and learn about other cultures, Shaik has built a global network and his personality and dedication to building relationships is award winning.  Most recently including the “Best noted personality in business networking groups across the UAE” from Business Network International (BNI).

As an individual Shaik describes himself as a self-motivated team player with emphasis on integrity, enthusiasm and fun.  Add to this his wonderful sense of humour which is received across nationalities and you begin to see why clients don’t just do business with Shaik because of his professional expertise.  His clients and peers describe him as an eminent thinker and inspiring leader whose blue-sky thinking is coupled with a can do and solution focused approach.

When asked what makes him successful, a proud Shaik discusses attitude and skill set but also raises the importance of education.  He himself has completed a Masters in Business Administration, a BSc Information Technology and is pursuing a PhD in Branding.   Continuous learning and development is what drives progress.  He is passionate about his work, about discovering new technology and helping the world to integrate this into industry in order to facilitate business.

On a personal note, Shaik has been happily settled in Abu Dhabi since 1975.  where he moved as a child.  Outside the office Shaik is as busy in his pursuits as he is in his professional life.  Spending quality time with his young family, his wife Mrs. Abida and his two children Ayman and AzzA, as well as devoting time to nourishing his friendships are a priority.  When he unwinds you are likely to see him taking in a round of golf, or happy snapping pictures of nature and people.
